The bridegroom, who was graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1920, is stationed at the United States Naval Hospital, Mare Island, Calif.

Wearing a costume suit of olive green and a matching hat, Miss Sylvia A. Schuette, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schuette, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged wedding vows with Wesley J. Schwarze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Schwarze, also of Greenwood, on Saturday, Sept. 5, 1942, at 5 p.m. The rev. George Heilman performed the ceremony in the rectory of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schwarze, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, were the only attendants. Mrs. Schwarze was attired in a tailored grey striped dress and matching accessories. Both the bride and her attendant wore shoulder corsages.
A 6 oclock dinner for immediate relatives and friends followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schwarze.
The bride had been employed previous to the time of her marriage at the Farmers and Merchants Bank, Greenwood, and the groom, a graduate of the Greenwood High School, is assistant postmaster at Greenwood

MRS. MARY SNEDIC

Greenwood--Rites for Mrs. Mary Snedic, 88, of Willard, Clark County, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church here. Mrs. Snedic died Monday afternoon at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Officiating at Friday s rites will be the Rev. Michael G. Mertens, pastor, and interment will be made in Holy Family Cemetery at Willard.

Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, beginning Thursday afternoon until 7 p.m. that evening, when the body will be taken to the church for a rosary service at 8 p.m.
The former Mary Krnicar was born Jan. 9, 1886 in Yugoslavia, and came to the United States in 1907. She had been a resident of Willard since 1914.

Her marriage on Sept. 30, 1907, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Joliet, Ill., was to John Snedic, who preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1941.

Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Djubenski and Anna Horvat, both of Willard Mrs. William (Josephine) Valenzuela, San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. John (Angeline) Zeng, Superior two sons, John, Greenwood, and Paul, Willard two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Bostanyich, De Kalb, Ill. and (The rest of my copy was cut off)

A Requiem High Mass was read for John Snedic Sr. Monday morning, Sept. 22, at 9 oclock at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), with the Rev. Raphael Stragisher officiating.
Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Mr. Snedic died Thursday, Sept. 18, 1941, at his home in Willard, following an illness of a year.
The pallbearers were Mike Artac, Joseph Bukovec, Frank Kokaly, John Gregorich, Frank Perovsek, and Valentine Jeras. Flower girls were Pauline and Josephine Francel, Sylvia Kokaly, Mrs. William Boh, Dorothy Petkovsek, Christine Gregorich, Ann Champa, and Betty Arch.
Mr. Snedic was born at Krajn, Yugoslavia, and came to America to settle at Rockdale, near Joliet, Ill., in August 1906. He was married to Mary Krnicar in Rockdale on Sept. 26, 1907.
They lived there for eight years and on April 14, 1914, moved to Willard, where they had resided since.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, John Jr., Greenwood; and Paul, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Ann) Horvat, Willard; Mary, Josephine and Angeline, at home; three grandchildren, Billy, Jimmy, and Mary Ann Snedic, Greenwood; and one sister, Mrs. Angela Fon, Milwaukee.
Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Angela Fon and daughter, Helen, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snedic, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bostjancic, Mrs. Frank Zupancic and son, Albin, John Kamnbar and son, John and Joseph Juhont, all of Rockdale, Ill.

PAUL SNEDIC, WILLARD, PASSES AWAY

Paul P. Snedic, age 63, of route 1, Willard, Town of Hendren, Clark County, was found dead at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1975 at his farm. Cause of death was an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Burial will be made in the Holy Family Cemetery. Father Francis Brockman will officiate.

Rinka Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Snedic was born June 29, 1912 at Joliet, Ill. He had never been married. He attended the North Willard School and farmed all of his life in the town of Hendren. He ran the family farm. He was a member of the Holy Family Church at Willard.

He is survived by one brother, John, Greenwood and four sisters, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Djubenski, Willard Mrs. Anna Horvat, Willard Mrs. William (Josephine) Valenzuela, San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. John (Angie) Zueg, Superior, Wis.

Evelyn Dimeo,age 79 of Neillsville, died Sunday, May 28, 2006 at the house of the Dove in Marshfield.
Evelyn Marguerite Dimeo was born on Jan. 14, 1927 in Greenwood,the daughter of Alfred and Ellen (Schwarze)Dux.She worked for many years with Bill Gallagher at City Hall as his office assistant and she also worked at the Memorial medical Center as a medical transcritionist.
Eveyln is survived by five daughters, Karen (Ron) Cummings, of Marshfield; Judy (Bernard) Fox, of Neillsville; Jean (Thom) Grretsen,of Marshfield; Laura (Henry) Miller of Chetek; and Kimberly (William) Aumann, of milwaukee. She is further survived by one sister, Patricia (Duane) Anding, of Granton; two brothers, Kenneth (Peg)Dux, of Neillsville; and Jeffrey (Jackie) Dux, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Jacob Wetzel.
A private family memorial service will be held at the Gesche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the House of the Dove, 613 Western Street, Marshfield, WI 54449
