GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Relatives from here who attended the funeral of Calvin Adolph Noah, 68, a former resident, at Baxter Iowa, Friday were Mrs. Clara Wendt and Mrs. Emil Noah and son Norman. Also attending were Adolph Noah, Owen, and Oscar of Alma.
Mr. Noah died of a heart ailment Dec. 19, 1955 at Baxter. Final rites were conducted from the Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church, and burial was made in the Baxter Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the Baxter Legion Post.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Noah of Greenwood was born Jan. 26, 1887, and received his education here. He went to Baxter in 1910 and was engaged in carpentry. During World War I, he served in the Army Engineering Corps and after his discharge he returned to Baxter, operating a hardware business until 1944. Since then he was a building contractor.
Surviving him are his wife, the former Myrtle Whaley, whom he married Aug. 6, 1929, at Baxter on sons, Leo Noah, U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va. and a daughter, Loretta, Milwaukee. Other survivors are thre brothers and four sisters, Emil, Mrs. Wendt and Mrs. Arthur (Bertha) Schwarze, Greenwood Oscar, Alma Albert, Sidney, Mont. Mrs. William (Selma) Holman, Port Washington and Mrs. Alvina Peters, Milwaukee. One sister preceded him in death.

Mrs. Anna W. Wehrmann, 84, of Route 1, Elkhart Lake, died this morning at Plymouth Hospital, where she had been a pitient for seven weeks.

The former Anna Wickesberg was born Sept 11, 1897, in the Town of Herman, a daughter of Fred and Anna Arpke Wickesberg. She attneded Appleton schools and was a graduate of Apleton High School.

She tought elementary schools after graduation from the Teacher's Training School at Kaukauna.

On Oct. 19, 1923, she married Arno Sehrmann at Greenville, Wis. The couple lived and farmed in the Town of Herman. Mr. Wehrmann died Jan 18, 1976.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Town of Herman and the Ladies Guild of the church. She was also a member of the auxillary of the Kupfahl-Mayer-Scheib American Legion Post 387 at Franklin.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Arold (Marie) Miller, Mrs. Hermon (Evelyn) Gunderson, and Mrs. John (Eleanor) Dees, all of Plymouth; one son, Frederick of the Town of Herman; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie and Alma Wickesberg, both of Germantown; and two brothers Herbert of Appleton and Alfred of Hubertus. She was preceded in death by an infoant daughter, a brother and a half-brother.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Town of Herman. The Rev Herbert Feirabend, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Wittkopp Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Sunday, until 8:30 a.m. Monday, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

A memorial fund has been extablished in Mrs. Wehrmann's name for Immanuel United Church of Christ.
