Woman Dies On Her Way Home
Mrs. John Knoener Who Spent Morning On Shopping Trip.
Calls At Home of Neighbors.
Is Taken Ill While There And Dies Within Few Minntes Of Apoplexy.
Mrs. John Knoener, aged 65 years, died suddenly of apoplexy yesterday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. John Harder; neighbors, in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, on the Green Bay road, a mile and a quarter north of the city of Sheboygan Falls.
The woman died of apoplexy; as determined by Dr. William Van Zanten, coroner, who was summoned on the case.
Yesterday morning Mrs. Knoener walked to Sheboygan Falls where she did some shopping. After dinner she started on the return trip to her home.
When she reached the Harder residence which is located a quarter of a mile from her home she stopped to rest and to see her neighbors before proceeding.
While there she was taken with a severe headache and her condition developed so seriously that a physician was called, but the woman died before he arrived.
She is survived by her husband and children. She had lived in Town Falls many years.

Green Valley Man Suffers Stroke, Dies.
Otto Franz stricken while pumping pail of water Monday Evening.
Otto Franz, 66, died at his home in the village of Green Valley on Monday evening at 10 o'clock. Mr. Franz had attended the firemen's meeting held in the village hall that evening. Upon his return home he went to the well to get a fresh drink of water. While there he suffered a stroke and was unable to get into the house without assistance. He passed away thirty minutes later, before the arrival of a physician who had been called.
The deceased was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan County, on May 27, 1866. At the age of 16 years he came with his parents to the town of Green Valley and settled on 80 acres of forest land located one-half mile north and one mile east of Advance.
On Sep. 8, 1889, he was married to Kate Wendling and shortly after his marriage he took over the management of his fathers farm. Thirteen years ago he turned the farm over to the management of his son Edward and purchased a home in the village of Green Valley, where he resided until time of death.
He held the office of town road superintendent for six years and was school treasurer of his district for three years.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. The children are: Edward on the old homestead, Albert, of Sheboygan, Hilda, Mrs. Clarence Willquiette, and Erna, Mrs. Phil Blonde, both of Green Bay. He also leaves one cister, Mrs. Christ Knoener, town of Green Valley and six grand children.
Funeral services will be held Friday at one o'clock at the home, continuing at the St. John's Lutheran church of which deceased was a member. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The Rev. Wm. Schroeder will have charge of the funeral services.

Otto Franz, Pioneer of Green Valley, Dies.
Advance, Wis. - Otto Franz, 66, died at his home in the village of Green Valley Monday evening, after suffering a stroke upon his return from the firemen's meeting in the village. He was assisted into the house, but passed away before a physician could arrive.
He was born in Sheboygan county May 17, 1866, and when 16 came with his parents to the town of Green Valley, settling on 80 acres of what was then forest. On Sept. 8, 1889, he was married to Kate Wendling, and took over the management of his father's farm. Thirteen years ago he turned the farm over to his son, edward, purchased a home in the village, and retired from active life. He was town road superintendent for six years, and school treasurer of his district for three years.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, and two daughters. The sons are Edward, at the old home, and Albert, Sheboygan. The daughters are Mrs. Clarence Williquette and Mrs. Phil Blonde, Green Bay. One sister, Mrs. Christ Knoerner, town of Green Valley, and six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 o'clock at the home, and will continue at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. William Schroeder will officate.
