Lowell Ervin Rolstad, age 83 of St. Peter, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his home in St. Peter.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Peter Funeral Home – Klein Chapel. Visitation will be one half hour before the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Peter Hospice or hospice of your choice.
Lowell was born on November 6, 1924 to Christ and Oline (Gronne) Rolstad in Minneapolis, MN.
He served in the US Army in WWII in the South Pacific from 1943-1946. he was employed by North Central, Republic and Northwest Airlines and retired in 1986. He was an avid reader and loved WWII stories and movies.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean of St. Peter; daughter, Bridget (Tom) Blaido of St. Peter, son, Tracy (Pam) Rolstad of Spokane, WA; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Neumann of Rochester, Lindsey (Mike) Grunst of St. Peter, Corporal Christopher (Kim) Blaido, USMC of North Carolina, Ali, Madi and Zach Rolstad of Spokane; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at United Church of Christ, Greenwood for Mrs. Lena Kippenhan on February 27. Mrs. Kippenhan has been a resident of the Neillsville Memorial Home for the past three years. She died at 1:30 ;.m., March 27, at Neillsville Hospital.
Services were conducted by Reverend Larry Davis with burial in the West Side Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Orlin Schwarze, Norman Liebzeit, Arvin Liebzeit, Ervin Toburen, Harvey Meinhardt and Leroy Fravert.
Organist was Margaret Schwarze and singers were Susan Richmond, Kathy and Ruth Fravert and Luann and Amy Horn.
Mrs. Kippenhan received her education at the Decker School. The couple farmed seven miles northwest of Greenwood until his death. She continued to live on the farm another four years, after which she lived with her children until entering the home at Neillsville.
She was a lifetime member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ and a member of its Women's Guild.
Survivors include three sons, Donald, at Memorial Home in Neillsville, Calvin at Appleton and George Sr. at Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Malinda) Hintz, Milwaukee; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Gladys, three brothers and a sister.

Ernest Radke of the Town of Eaton and Ruth Reinhardt of the town of Mead were married by Justice of the peace F. W. Draper May 21st at the home of the justice.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Radke and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reinhardt. They were accompanied by Ira and Amy Radke, brother and sister of the groom and by Miss Reinhardt, a sister of the bride.
The young people are well and favorably known in their respective communities and are commencing housekeeping on a farm near the home of the bride in the town of Mead.

She was born Jan. 16, 1915 to Earnest and Lenora (Taylor) Reinhardt. May 21, 1936, she married Ernest F. Radke who died Feb. 1, 1977. Ruth was buried Nov. 30, 1999 at the West Spencer Cemetery in Sherman Twp., Clark Co., WI
Her parents, husband and daughters Viola Vandeberg (D. 1955) and Beverly Kuehn (D. 1998), preceeded her in death.

GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Funeral services will be held here Tuesday for Albert Abel, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Abel, Greenwood, who was killed in a car accident late Friday evening between Harvard and Capron, Ill. The youth, who was employed in Capron, died of a crushed chest when his car hit a bridge.
The Rev. Edward Hartung will officiate at final rites at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. The rites will precede an 8:30 a.m. service at the Abel home, where the body is now lying in state. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 tonight.
The Hill Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of funeral arrangements. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Albert Francis Abel was born in Greenwood Feb. 8, 1935. He received his primary education at St. Mary's School here and was graduated from Greenwood High School in 1952. He had been employed in Capron since graduation.
Besides hi parents, he leaves three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Harry (Joan) Bujanouski, Milwaukee Harold of Capron, and Yvonne, Donna Mae, Lloyd and Frank, all at home.

Richard Rondorf
Richard J. Rondorf, 69, Greenwood, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 2, 2004, surrounded by his living family. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. The Rev. Joseph Follmar officated. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marty Nigon, Tim Rondorf, Bob Moseley, Mike Rondorf, Ralph Landini, and Larry Knudsen.
Richard Joseph Rondorf was born on April 15, 1935, in Greenwood to Joseph and Evelyn (nee DeMuth) Rondorf. He was raised and educated in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1953. After completing his schooling, he moved to Milwaukee and worked for the Ladish Company as a tool and die maker. He married Yvonne Abel on July 26, 1958. In 1962, he left the Ladish Company in Milwaukee and moved to a from south of Greenwood. His wive Yvonne, died on Oct. 8, 1971. He married Joyce Jahnke on Aug. 22, 1973, in Neillsville. He retired from farming in 1995, and moved off the farm to live in Greenwood in 2001. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a founder of the Greenwood Athletic Booster Club, served on the board of the Greenwood Softball Association, was past president of Land O'Lakes, and had many interests, but especially enjoyed playing cards, and all sports, particularly high school.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Joyce Rondorf, Greenwood; six daughters, Lois (Terry) Hampel, St. Francis, DeDe (Brian) Gilboy, Spencer, Mary Jo Rondorf, Loyal, Tracy (Gary) Morrison, Eau Claire, Peggy (Shawn) Feirer, St. Francis, and Janalee Rondorf, Thorp; four sons, Thomas Rondorf, Chippewa Falls, Patrick Rondorf, Greenwood, Kurt Rondorf, New Hope, Minn., and Rico (Erin) Rondorf, Wauwatoa; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis (Duane) Syth, Greenwood, Marjorie Lloyd, West Bend, and Patricia (Mel) Alvarado, Kewasku; five brothers, John (Shirley) Rondorf, Milwaukee, James (Nonna) Rondorf, Cudahy, Charles (Marge) Rondorf, West Bend, Dennis (Sandy) Rondorf, West Bend, and Lawrence (Karen) Rondorf, Willard; nieces; newphews; other relatives; and many friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Yvonne; one daughter, Michelle Rondor; and three sisters, Nancy Feucht, Janet Kreuser and Judy Rondorf.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
